Running a Business out of Her Home

The woman next door has been running a business out of her home for the better part of the last two years. She used to own two different fabric stores, but she was telling me that the overhead was just too much for her to bear. She said that she always thought that she could run these businesses out of her home, if only she could make some pretty drastic lifestyle changes. After running the numbers she figured out that it was worth it, so she sold both of the properties and decided to do everything in-house, literally.

Every time I need fleece fabric all I have to do is walk right next door. She has her whole living room set up like a design studio, which has a very hip and stylish feel to it. Sometimes I go over there to help her with her deliveries, and in exchange she usually makes me lunch and gives me free merchandise. She says that although her home life is a bit different now, she really enjoys it because all the extra money allows her to travel wherever she wants. She’s always got plenty of sale fabric on hand, which means that she’s going to be raking in the dough for quite some time.
